Customer Spotlight: HDD

CPD have completed and handed over 2 x Ford Transit L3 double cab tippers and 4 x Ford Transit L3H3 panel vans to long-time customer HDD UK.

Based in the South East of England, HDD UK has used CPD for many years. They keep coming back to us due to our reliable build quality and our full end to end service from vehicle purchase to body conversions, all done on-site by our in-house team.

Here’s what we did….

For the double cab tippers:

• Sourced the L3 double cab chassis from our stock
• Built the 9ft6 praevia tipper body;

• Added tool storage and metal window blanking plates
• Installed anti-theft T Series hook locks and external door shields
• Fitted Chapter 8 Chevron boards and conspicuity tape
• Added LED beacons, strobe lights, a towbar, and a reverse camera

For the panel vans:

• Sourced the L3H3 Ford Transit vehicles from our stock
• Converted the rear;

• Installed poly lining, roof insulation, and LED lights
• Added roof beacons, towbar step, fire extinguisher, and first aid kits
• Fitted System Edström modular racking for better durability and safety
• Enhanced security with anti-theft protections and reverse cameras
• Applied custom HDD branding

Moving away from plywood racking, HDD switched to metal modular racking System Edström on our advice as its lightweight, durable, and maximizes space.
