New Industry Memberships: What This Means for Customers
We are pleased to announce that CPD has joined five important UK industry groups. We are proud to become members of the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT), the Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association (VBRA) and Hire Association Europe (HAE).
Who Are The Organisations?
Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP): AFP is the collective voice of national fleet operators that strive to improve market conditions for everyone involved in running a corporate fleet in the UK – fleet operators, service providers and those with fleet responsibility working in HR, Finance and Procurement roles.
Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT): The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) exists to support and promote the interests of the UK automotive industry at home and abroad. Working closely with member companies, SMMT acts as the voice of the motor industry, promoting its position to government, stakeholders and the media.
Vehicle Builders and Repairers Association (VBRA): VBRA Commercial is the only trade association dedicated to commercial vehicle body repair and bodybuilding in the UK and is a division of the NBRA. The VBRA consult, guide and assist in all matters pertaining in subjects such but not limited to legislation, type approval, H&S and legal.
Hire Association Europe (HAE): A leading trade association for the plant, tool, equipment and event hire sector, The aim of HAE is to protect, support, and build successful businesses, set and improve standards, safeguard end-users, hirers and contractors through our commitment to skills, standards and sustainability.
Logistics UK: Logistics UK is one of the biggest trade associations in the UK, supporting, shaping and standing up for efficient logistics. As champions and challengers, Logistics UK speaks to the government with one voice on behalf of the whole sector.
